As part of Bokoni Platinum Mines (BPM) commitment to community upliftment and digital inclusion, a new cloud computing training programme has been launched in partnership with CXIA Training. The 12-month programme is designed to equip six (6) mine community youth with theoretical and practical cloud computing skills, an essential field in Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR). “We are committed to preparing our youth for opportunities beyond mining. This programme gives them the skills and the confidence to participate meaningfully in the digital economy,” said Clinton Sebastain, Human Resources Development Coordinator at BPM. Delivering future ready skills reinforces BPM ongoing support for skills development, youth empowerment and the sustainable growth of our communities.
