In a powerful display of community engagement and social responsibility, the Bokoni Platinum Mines (BPM) Women in Mining Forum distributed over 4000 sanitary pads to nine (9) mine community high schools which were collected through its voluntary employee giving campaign. By providing hygiene feminine products, BPM is not just keeping a girl child in school, it is helping to protect their right to education and dignity, building confidence, and empowering our future leaders.

By ensuring access to menstrual cycle hygiene products, BPM is directly addressing barrier that often prevents young girls from attending school consistently”, said Zama Matsimbi, BPM WIM Chairperson. This initiative goes beyond the distribution of hygiene products, it represents BPM deep commitment to advancing gender equality and promoting community upliftment.
